This limited edition lithograph was created for Tarheel Moments for our second print. Walter "Sweet D" Davis was the obvious choice to depict in one of the greatest comebacks in Northa Carolina basketball history.

Moments series by Stephen F. Hanson. This print captures Walter Davis
desperation shot that completed the most miraculous comeback in Carolina
Basketball. The exceptional detail throughout the print is highlighted
by
renderings of the Carmichael scoreboard. The first illustrates the score of
the game when it seemed utterly hopeless - Duke up 86-78 with only 17
seconds remaining. The second depicts the tie score with no time remaining
after Dean Smith, Bobby Jones, Mitch Kupchak and Walter Davis worked
their
magic -setting the stage for a thrilling overtime victory. This piece
